How we are governed

Growing Maggie’s so that everyone affected by cancer can access our unique, high quality support is our priority.

Maggie Keswick Jencks Cancer Caring Centre Trust (Maggie’s) is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity. We are governed by a Board of Trustees, the Charity's board of directors. 

Our board are volunteers whose role it is to set Maggie’s strategic direction, monitor the delivery of the Charity's objects, uphold its values and governance and guide, advise and support the Chief Executive. 

The Chief Executive is delegated the day to day management of Maggie’s and she work with her executive team to deliver the organisations strategy and goals.

• our voluntary Board of Directors, which are responsible for overall governance of the charity
• our Chief Executive, Laura Lee who is responsible for delivery of our goals
• our Executive, managed by the Chief Executive to deliver the charity’s goals
• our Committees who have specific areas of responsibility

Our Professional Advisory Board is a specifically appointed group of leading oncology professionals who offer independent advice on the quality and delivery of maggie’s programme of cancer support.
