    Mandy McMahan, PhD

    Centre Head and Clinical Psychologist

Prior to moving to Maggie’s Nottingham I worked as a Clinical Psychologist for over two years at the Maggie’s Fife and Dundee Centres. In addition to cancer care, areas of experience include depression, anxiety, occupational rehabilitation, body image and eating disorders. I am delighted to be in Nottingham and part of such an exciting and supportive community.

    Kate Martin

    Cancer Support Specialist

After qualifying as a nurse from St George's hospital in London, I spent 5 years working with people with HIV/AIDS in hospital in the community and in Kenya. I was then part of the Nottingham Cancer Clinical Trials Team for 4 years where I became acutely aware of the need for greater emotional and psychological support for people with cancer and their families and carers. Maggie's ethos embraces everything I believe to be essential in providing this support.

  • Sarah Macey

    Community Fundraiser

Having joined Maggie’s at the end of 2009 I was amazed at the community support for the centre. I have worked in fundraising for five years and before then was involved in development projects within Nottingham, but this is by far the most exciting project I have been involved in. I am really looking forward to working with everyone in the new centre and can’t wait to hear about your fundraising ideas.
