Music for Maggie's
Make music for Maggie’s by running your own musical fundraiser and help the people who visit a Maggie Centres have the best life possibie with, through and beyond cancer.
Share your love of music and help raise money for Maggie's. Here are some ideas to get you started.

Concert and gigs
• Hold your own mini festival or ‘battle of the bands’. Get local groups involved and ask for an entrance fee
• Have a good old fashioned piano and sing-along evening with donations per song request
• Organise a carol-singing event at your local church or community centre, or get friends together and sing door-to-door in your neighbourhood
• Ask your local concert venue to dedicate a small percentage of programme sales for one night or one week to Maggie’s
Sing
• Get your local pub or bar involved and host a karaoke night. You can also do this at home
• Do you love Glee? Have a Wii/Playstation/XBox sing-along competition with your friends
• Create your own X Factor or maybe the M factor!
• Office jukebox – get your colleagues to pick and donate for their favourite tunes and create a Friday playlist
• Busk in your local town and village in aid of Maggie’s (remember to get permission first!)
Something different
• Ask your friends to sponsor you to learn an unusual instrument and give them a concert
• Hold an instrument-playing marathon and have a sweepstake on how long you can play for
• Arrange a barn dance or ceilidh and include a lucky dip or raffle
• Hold a themed party from your favourite era or musical and ask your guests for a small entry fee
