• Livezone at SNO!bar Xscape

  Saturday 5 December

  

  A night of live music featurting, Nacional, Helicon, Acrylic Iqon, Suplex The Kid, Eightball plus DJs and Acoustic Acts. The event starts at 6pm and finishes late - so head to SNObar, Xscape to join the fun!

  Suggested donation is £5.

• Can you spare four hours for Maggie's this Christmas?

  Meeting - Monday 2 November 2009. Wrapping - Friday 18 December 2009 to Wednesday 23 December 2009

  

  We need volunteers to wrap shoppers’ Christmas presents in local stores on Friday 18 December to Wednesday 23 December.

  We will be having a meeting to arrange rotas on Monday 2 November at 6pm at Maggie’s Glasgow. If you are interested, please call Jen on 0141 330 3368. We hope to be wrapping in: Waterstone’s Sauchiehall Street, Waterstone’s Ayr, Borders Buchanan Street, Borders The Fort, Silverburn and East Kilbride.

• Glasgow Thistle Hotel - The Talksport Christmas Lunch

  The Talk Sport boys are on tour - and they’re going head-to-head with some very special guests! The morning lads of Talk Sport, with a host of stars, will pit their knowledge in a festive battle to see just who has the Christmas number one. The event will be hosted by horse racing’s very own Derek Thompson.

• Christmas Shopping Fair in aid of Maggie's Glasgow

  Visit the Christmas Shopping Fair at Kibble Palace in the Botanic Gardens to help raise money for Maggie's Glasgow.

  Maggie's supporters can purchase special Christmas gifts from a variety of exhibitors, from stocking fillers to cashmere. You can also spend time enjoying the beautiful Kibble Palace or having a bite to eat in the Heart Buchanan area.

  We do hope you can join what promises to be a super day out. A percentage of all sales will be donated to Maggie's Glasgow.

   

  The fair will launch on Tuesday 1 December, 5.30pm - 8.30pm (including cocktails by Demijohn) and will run from 10am - 4pm on Wednesday 2 December.  Entry fee is a donation to Maggie's Centre.

• The Liquid Ship presents...

• Pedal for Scotland

  A massive congratulations and an even bigger thank you to Alexander MacKinnon and Mark Sullivan.

  Both boys took part in the recent Pedal for Scotland event and raised an amazing £1642.00 for Maggie's!

  The event saw the boys cycle a staggering 50 miles from Glasgow to Edinburgh, which is a fantastic achievement. Well done!

• Gleddoch Golf Club

  October 2009

  

  June Lockhart, Lady Captain and the Ladies Committee organised a wonderful day of Greensomes golf in memory of the late Sheila Hughes. A special trophy was designed for the occasion and the day raised a fantastic £5,800 for Maggie's Glasgow.  Thank you to June, the Ladies Committee, Drew and Family.

  Professional internet solutions and graphic design company GT4 have supported Maggie's Glasgow by designing and printing our Women's 10k posters free of charge.  This is an invaluable contribution to Maggie's.  Thank you so much for your kindness.
