Maggie's Hong Kong

Maggie's Hong Kong opened its doors in December 2008.  It provides a daily programme for anyone affected by cancer.  You can drop in to use the library and resources or join a relaxation session or nutrition class.  There are Look Good Feel Better sessions on offer, yoga and individual and family support sessions. 

Maggie's Hong Kong is based at Tuen Mun Hospital.  You can drop in anytime between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

The current building is an interim service.  The purpose built centre is being designed by Frank Gehry, who also designed Maggie's Dundee. 

Maggie's Hong Kong is supported by the Keswick Foundation Ltd and Maggie's Centres.

Maggie's Hong Kong Programme

Maggie's Hong Kong have put together an interim programme to support people affected by cancer in the local area.

There are Look Good Feel Better classes that can help rebuild self esteem in people with cancer.  These will run monthly, please contact a member of staff if you are interested in attending and they will let you know the date of the next session.

The Relaxation Programme helps participants to concentrate on their breathing and muscle relaxation with the aid of music and gentle talking in a comfortable environment.  The session lasts for an hour and runs every Monday and Thursday.  Contact a staff member for more information.

Future programme sessions will include Nutrition Classes, Art and Music Therapy, Yoga and Side Effects of Treatment classes.  Please contact a member of staff for more information about them.
