• Coast to Coast Cycle Ride

  Saturday 13th September 2008

  

  Darren Faill is cycling from Whitehaven to Tynemouth over 1 weekend from 13th September 2008.  His sister, Donna, will be his support driver.

  Darren is doing this event in memory of his parents, both of whom had cancer.  He and Donna sent the collection of £620 from their Dad's funeral to help the Maggie's collection.

  50% of the proceeds of this event will go to Maggie's North East. 

• David Lloyd Gym: Fun Run for Maggie's

  Saturday 13th September 2008

  

  At David Lloyd Gym, Castle Farm Road, South Gosforth, Newcastle, NE3 1SN.

  Open to non-members.

  11am - 5k and 10k run.

  12.30pm - 1k run for children.

  There will also be a BBQ and bouncy castle.  For more details call David Lloyd Gym on 0191 284 1275.

• Pie & Pea Supper

  Saturday 18th October 2008

  

  The Aqua Girls are organising a Pie and Pea Supper at Springs Health Club, South Shields. 

  Tickets cost £5 and can be obtained from Springs Health Club or by calling 0191 430 1001.

• A Knife, a Fork, a Bottle and a Cork

  

  Wanted: seven dinner party hosts for Maggie's.

  How about having some friends round for a meal and raising money for Maggie's along the way?  This fun to do idea could raise a staggering £100,000 for Maggie's.

• Great North Run

  

  We are looking for people to run for Maggie's in the Great North Run half marathon in Newcastle in September 2008.
