    Liz Minton

    Centre Head, Maggie's Oxford

I visited the Edinburgh Centre when I was working in cancer support for the NHS.  I could hear and see what a difference Maggie's made first hand and was thrilled when the opportunity arose to work here.

I have previously worked in social work, education, research and public health.

I enjoy travel, reading and time with my family.

    Community Fundraiser, Maggie's Oxford

Working for Maggie’s is a fantastic opportunity to use my experience to make a difference to the lives of thousands of people who have been diagnosed with cancer.

I was a Community Involvement Manager for Oxfordshire and Berkshire Consortium for Patient and Public Involvement in Health.  I coordinated and arranged events and also provided administrative support for over 200 volunteers in the area.

I enjoy walking and trekking.  I trekked the Great Wall of China in 2005 for charity and have just completed a charity trek over the mountains in Iceland.
