Payroll Giving

Giving to Maggie's through your pay is one of the easiest ways to help us continue our work with anyone affected by cancer across the UK - it's flexible, easy to set up and tax-effective.

Like everyone we need to budget, and regular donations help us to plan ahead.  By giving a regular amount from your pay, you can build it into your budget too.

Employers

Over 9,000 businesses already offer the benefits of payroll giving to around five million employees - and the numbers are growing.  Whatever the size of your company, here's why you should adopt payroll giving:

* It's cost effective - registration is free, and any costs incurred can be deducted from company profits for tax purposes.
* It's easy to set up - most payroll systems are already capable of administrating a scheme, and technical support is available every step of the way.
* It's no effort to run - with the majority of the administration done for you by an Inland Revenue approved agency, it will only take around 30 minutes each month to run.
* It builds better employee relations - as well as supporting a charity, payroll giving is a brilliant way for you to show your staff how much you care.

Together with offering the scheme, there are many further ways you can show your support, such as matching employee donations or paying the small Inland Revenue agency administration fee.

If you don't already offer a scheme and would like to, or would like to talk to Maggie's about how we can help maximise payroll giving within your company call Jodie on 020 7386 3505.

Employees

Payroll giving is an easy and tax-effective way for you to support Maggie's, because your donation is deducted from your pay before your PAYE tax is calculated.

Thousands of employers throughout the UK are set up for payroll giving, but if yours isn't we can contact them to make all the necessary arrangements.
