Flora London Marathon
Congratulations to our fantastic team of Maggie's runners who took to the streets of London on Sunday morning! The sun was shining and the atmosphere amazing as our fabulous runners covered an exhausting and exhilarating 26 miles - well done! Maggie's Sporting Events
Maggie's Running Team went from strength to strength throughout 2008 and we're now looking forward to an action packed 2009! Make your miles matter by taking part in a variety of events from the Flora London Marathon to Edinburgh Marathon or even overseas in New York, Chicago or Berlin. We have guaranteed places and provide an unparalleled level of support to all of our participants, from the moment you register until your foot crosses the finishing line. You can also join the team by entering on your own place for any of these events.

BUPA Great North Run

Join Maggie's Running Team at the world's biggest half marathon on the 20th September and make your miles matter as plans get underway for us to build Maggie's North East next to the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle.
Newcastle native Donna Air has chosen to run for Maggie's in this year's event. Read about Donna's decision and learn how your participation can make all the difference.
Registration is now open, to join us on the starting line we simply need a completed registration form and fee of £42 or you can sign up and secure your place on our online registration system.

Maggie's are excited to have been chosen as charity partner for this event. The 47.5 mile route from Glasgow to Edinburgh along quiet roads takes in all the sights and sounds of this beautiful part of the world.

Albert Bartlett Edinburgh Marathon & Hairy Haggis Relay

A huge “Well done!” to all of the runners who made it round the Albert Bartlett Marathon and the Hairy Haggis Relay on the 31st of May.
It was a red hot day and in the heat runners took in 26.2 miles of inspiration - an ancient castle, a beautiful coastline, an extinct volcano and a royal palace. Once again, thank you to all who cam along and participated this year. We hope to see you all again for 2010!
10 Under the Ben

Congratulations to all the Maggie’s Riders who part in this exhilarating 10 hour mountain bike adventure. Participants took part solo or in teams of up to 4 people. The route incorporated the World Championship Witches trail route. It was fun day out with colleagues, friends and family; our biggest thanks to all who turned out.
