Maggie's Dundee: Exterior view of Frank Gehry designed Centre

“Every time I visit a Maggie's Centre, I am humbled by the courage shown by people affected by cancer and impressed by the support provided by staff at the Centres. Visitors are invested with vital tools to help them cope with a cancer diagnosis and treatment”

Prime Minister, Gordon Brown at the opening of Maggie's Fife in 2006

Supporting Maggie's

Every two minutes someone is diagnosed with cancer in the UK.  Typically it takes a doctor just seven minutes to tell you that you have cancer, but the impact of that diagnosis ripples through your life.

Maggie's is there to help you with the emotional adjustment to a diagnosis of cancer, offering support, practical advice and ways to cope with the major upheaval cancer can cause.

Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm five Maggie's Centres already bring much-valued support to people affected by cancer.  Please help us bring that support to more people around the country.

You can give a one-off donation or set up a regular donation online - click on the links on the left hand menu to find out how.

If you would like to send in a donation by cheque, please make your cheque payable to 'Maggie's Centres' and post it to Elley Martin, Donor Development Manager, Maggie's Centres, 8 Newton Place, Glasgow, G3 7PR.

US based donors who would like to support Maggie's can donate to our sister organisation, American Friends of Maggie's Centres Inc, which is a 501(c)3 non-profit.  All funds sent to American Friends are transferred to Maggie's Centres, and donors are able to offset their donations against tax liabilities in the normal way.  Please send donations (in US dollars only) to:
