What is Maggie’s Pudding Club

Maggie’s Pudding Club started with an Active Friends Group in Oxfordshire who asked a local Bistro to develop a special dessert for Maggie’s and donate £2.50 every time a customer purchased one. They named this the Maggie’s Pudding Club.

You can join Maggie’s Pudding Club and decide how you want to raise funds, we will give you lots of ideas and examples of what other members have done and will provide you with mouthwatering recipes to inspire your tastebuds!

How do I organise a Maggie’s Pudding Club Party?

However you like as long as it involves cake!

Examples of what other members have done are:

Morven joined the Maggie’s Pudding Club and for her first event she invited all of her friends and their children to come to her house on a Friday afternoon in June. Her theme was chocolate and she baked all kinds of chocolate goodies to treat her guests. She charged £10 on the door and for this guests could eat as much chocolate as they wanted and they even got a goody bag to take home. Morven raised £210 and is going to have her Maggie’s Pudding Club Party every 3 months.

Helen admits that she is not very good at baking. She wanted to join Maggie’s Pudding Club to support the Maggie’s centre in London after her friend received support. Helen decided to buy some sweet treats every Friday and take them into her office where she charged colleagues 50p each. She does this every Friday and has so far raised £96.
