Message for Love Maggie’s Day, 26 March 2010

"I was delighted to learn that the first Love Maggie’s day is taking place on Friday 26 March. Maggie’s will hold activities at Maggie's Centres and in local communities around the country, helping to increase awareness of the support Maggie's offers people, and their families, living with, through and beyond cancer. I do hope you will be able to support this wonderful cause by doing something you love, for someone you love."

- Maggie's President, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall

Keep doing something you love for Maggie's

Just because Love Maggie's Day is over, doesn't mean you have to stop doing things you love to help raise awareness of the support that Maggie's offers.

Choose something you love. Then, do it! For yourself or for someone you love. On your own or with others. For example, if you love:

• Singing - have a karaoke competition

Night walking - sign up for Maggie's London 20-mile Night Hike, London 10-mile Night Hike or Glasgow 10-mile Night Hike on Friday 17 September

• Cake - join Maggie's Pudding Club

• Helping out - volunteer at one of our 2010 events
