In a keynote project to mark The Glasgow Herald's 225th year, the newspaper has teamed up with Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres in a campaign that will provide lasting support for those across Scotland affected by cancer. The Herald are inviting readers to become Herald Friends of Maggie's (individuals, groups or companies) to help support the Maggie's work in 2008 and beyond. 

As part of the campaign, The Herald is featuring interesting, moving and inspiring articles on Maggie's for the whole year of 2008.  In an unprecendented move, they featured an entire Saturday Magazine edition dedicated to Maggie's, featuring a plethora of articles, including an interview with celebrity supporter, Ian Rankin, architects of Maggie's Centres, people who benefit first-hand from the Centres, and much more.  You can read through some of this one-off magazine edition of The Herald here on our website by downloading the articles below.
