The Herald t Newsquest Media Group xlThe painting of the Wee Black Fairy by Archie Forrest for Jeanie Rae who had breast cancer. Jeanie told Archie that chemotherapy was like a little black fairy working on her body to heal her and in response to this he painted her a fairy. Jeanie found the painting gave her strength and now gives a print of it to people she knows are going through cancer.
