Baker Tilly donates over £24,000 to Maggie’s

Staff in the Scottish offices of Baker Tilly, a leading national provider of accounting, tax and business services, have worked tirelessly to raise an amazing £24,273.32 for Maggie’s.

The Baker Tilly team raised the incredible figure in a variety of ways, from the extreme, for example taking part in Maggie’s Monster Bike and Hike, the Great Scottish Run and the Edinburgh Marathon, to the more sedate, with office quiz nights, bake sales and dress down days.

Baker Tilly’s Managing Partner in Scotland, Robert Ross, said, “The work of Maggie’s is so vital to people affected by cancer that our staff naturally became passionate about raising money. We are very proud of what we have achieved and are thrilled that this will make a difference at Maggie’s.”

Gemma McDonald, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Maggie’s said, “The support we have received from Baker Tilly over the past two years has been overwhelming; their staff have got involved with all of our events and they have made a huge effort to raise as much money as possible. This donation will go a long way in providing professional support to people affected by cancer.”

Gemma McDonald and Maggie’s Centre Head in Edinburgh, Andy Anderson, met with Baker Tilly staff last week to accept this generous donation.
