Maggie's Art of Hope Auction at the London Art Fair 2011
Maggie's is the official charity partner for London Art Fair 2011 and is proud to present The Art of Hope.
The Art of Hope is a collection of work donated by leading contemporary artists, reflecting Maggie's approach to art and wellbeing. It will be on show at the London Art Fair, in the Business Design Centre in Islington between 19 and 23 January.
Images and details of the collection are available below.
All the pieces on display in The Art of Hope exhibition (located on Gallery Level 2, above the Art Projects section) will be auctioned by Christie's at 7.30pm at the Fair's Preview Evening on Tuesday 18 January to raise vital funds for Maggie's programme of cancer care and support.
Works of art chosen for Maggie’s Centres are challenging and surprising: the opposite of “hospital art”. They create the personality that transforms Maggie's buildings into something more.
