Sponsored by Artemis Investment Management, and taking place at the Corn Exchange, the Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show (ECFS) 09 will be a delight for all the senses.  Fashion fanatics will be treated to an explosion of colour, fantastic beats and vibrant energy.

For those who have never heard of it Edinburgh’s annual Charity Fashion Show, now in its consecutive sixth year, has become an international success.  Having raised over £238,000,  ECFS has combined students' efforts throughout the Scottish capital with the need to raise awareness for many worthy causes.   Over the years, rock legend Sting and world-renowned painter Jack Vettriano have pitched in to help raise money. Not to mention the contributions made by The Kooks, Harry Enfield and Ewan McGregor to name but a few.

This year, already confirmed to appear on the ECFS 09’s catwalk are creations by Nicole Farhi, Betty Jackson, Bora Aksu and the milliners Anthony Peto and Yvette Jelfs.

'We want to make it [ECFS 09] a platform for established designers to be seen along side emerging ones, where fashion uses its pulling power to shed light on vital charities' said Alice Holland, Head of Fashion.  What promises to be the event of the year will feature, in addition to the best from this season's international and local designers, dancers, live music, numerous prizes and a fantastic auction.

All of this (and more!) in the name of three fantastic charities: Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres, Motor Neurone Disease Scotland, Cavernoma Alliance UK and the Neurology Unit at the Western General.  This year’s committee is thrilled to support these fantastic organisations, chosen for their amazing work in assisting those suffering from cancer, MND and other often fatal illnesses.

Please join us for what will be a fantastically exhilarating night in the name of three great causes.  The sky is our limit; the runaway, our starting point.
