Help us keep Maggie's going in 2018

We're calling on you to help fund a day at your Maggie’s Centre on a day that's important to you.

It costs £2,400 to run a Maggie's Centre for a day and we are only able to open our doors free of charge, thanks to the generosity of our incredible supporters.

When you Make Your Day, your money will go directly towards helping people with cancer in your community.

How to Make Your Day

There are two ways to pay for a day of cancer support – you can pay straight away or you can choose to fundraise over time until you've reached your target.

However you choose to Make Your Day, your local Centre Fundraiser will be in touch to arrange your day so that you can come and visit on the day you've funded and see how your money helps people with cancer first hand.

What a difference a day makes

Our Centres provide practical, emotional and social support to up to 200 people a day.

They could be looking for practical advice about benefits or eating well, one to one or group support from a trained Psychologist, or a place just to have a break from the hospital environment, a friendly face and cup of tea round our kitchen table.

What Make Your Day means for you

We want to acknowledge the businesses and individuals that have helped us pay for a day.

Visiting the Centre

We'll invite you into the Centre on your day to say thank you. This is a chance to visit your Centre and meet the staff and some of the people who you have helped support.

Thank you and your certificate

You will receive a thank you phone call from the Centre and a video from our CEO to share with your employees.

We'll send you a personalised certificate. If you would like, we can display this in the Centre on the day so visitors can recognise the support you are providing.

Online recognition

Every business or individual that supports Maggie’s will get a public mention on the Centres' social media accounts. If you would like to share your story with our supporters, we would be delighted to feature it as a news story on our website.

About Maggie's

Maggie's Centres are here for everyone and anyone affected by cancer, offering a programme of support that has been shown to strengthen physical and emotional wellbeing.

"So far we’ve organised two balls which meant we could pay for seven days of cancer support at Maggie’s Swansea. We’ve already started developing our next evening for 2016. The team and I are delighted that we can help in any way."
