Nose and sinus cancer (nasal and paranasal)

Your nose widens from a narrow tube in the nostrils to a wide nasal cavity  which sits in the space between the nostrils and above the roof of the mouth, from where it curves down to the back of the throat.

Paranasal is the medical term for the area around the nose.  This area contains spaces of air called sinuses aournd the nose and behind the cheekbones.
