This section will help you to find information about cancers which affect children and young people and help and support available for them and the people around them. Childrens cancers are sometimes called paediatric cancers. Paediatrics is the branch of medicine that manages medical conditions affecting infants, children and young people.

The links on this page are to general information about childhood cancers. You can also visit the other pages in this section to find more detailed information for:

You may also find the informaiton in our Young carers section helpful  if you are a young person supporting someone else with cancer or for advice on supporting friends, children and  siblings when a  young person has cancer.

If you have been affected by cancer in some way and would like to talk to someone about what you have read or need help finding information - you are welcome to drop into any Maggie’s Centre or to visit Maggie’s Online Centre and talk with a cancer support specialist.
