Cancer of unknown primary (CUP)

Cancer of unknown primary (CUP) is where the cancer diagnosed is a cancer that has spread to part of your body (a secondary cancer) but it is not possible to find out where the cancer started (the primary cancer).

Cancer of unknown primary may also be called  unknown tumour.
