Talking to children about cancer
Support for Families
Maggie’s Cancer Support Specialists can help you talk to your children about cancer and what is happening; you can drop into the Centre to speak to them at any time. We also offer one-to-one and family support with a psychologist or Cancer Support Specialist.
Support for Children
In a number of our Centres we offer one-off Kids Days and Teen Days for children and young people who have a parent with cancer. These sessions provide a space in which young people can explore their concerns, meet others in the same situation and find out more about what is happening to their mum or dad.
