Practical support

Returning to work after cancer

For individuals

Where Now? is a course for people who have finished cancer treatment. The course offers support with all aspects of life after cancer, including the transition back to work.

For companies

Our Cancer in the Workplace programme supports companies to help employees who are returning to work after cancer. A series of resources have been developed in partnership with Unum, aimed at supporting HR professionals to help people who are living with or after cancer back into the workforce.

"I was off work throughout my treatment for nine months. I was actually quite glad to go back to work to give me interaction with friends and with colleagues, and I have been surprised by how good it feels to be able to actually achieve something."
