Hampstead Heath Walk

Sunday 11 June 2017

Adults – £15
Under 16's – free

Please join us for our annual walk on Hampstead Heath at 10.30am on Sunday 11 June 2017 and help make it the biggest and best yet!

There's a 5km and a 10km route to ensure the walk is suitable for all ages and all levels of fitness and we welcome walkers, joggers and runners!

Fresh fruit and drinks will be provided and you are welcome to bring along a picnic to make it the perfect day out.

This year, the walk is a double celebration as we celebrate our 30th birthday and our founder Santy Parbhoo’s 80th birthday.

Cancerkin was Santy’s groundbreaking initiative to provide professional, non-medical support to breast cancer patients.

Last year we received over 5,500 visits from people affected by cancer and their families. We need to raise £50,000 to ensure we can continue to provide support.

The money raised will fund practical, emotional, and social support including complementary therapies such as massage and reflexology as well as one-to-one counselling. As our services expand to support people affected by all cancers, we need your help to reach our ambitious target.

Date: Sunday 11 June 2017

How your money helps

Your support means so much to the people affected by cancer who come to our Centres each day. It costs £590,000 a year to keep a Maggie's Centre open, and the money you raise will help your Maggie's Centre continue to provide emotional, practical and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends.
