Reiki, a Japanese word for Universal Life Energy, is a relaxing and gentle technique where therapists believe they act as a channel for energy which they transfer through their hands to aid self-healing, rebalancing and relaxation.

A Reiki session involves sitting or lying down fully clothed, while the practitioner gently places their hands on or just above the body in a sequence of positions that allows energy to flow from the practitioner through to the person.

This monthly networking group is for men with any type of cancer. You are welcome to attend before, during or after treatment. The group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. It is a chance to talk to other people in a similar situation and share emotions or feelings that you might not want to discuss with family members. The group is facilitated by a specialist nurse who can answer questions about cancer or treatments.

CanExercise is simply Cancer Rehabilitation through exercise.

Movements and exercises are incorporated to regain and maintain range of motion, restore physical and emotional balance, reduce your risk of developing lymphoedema or to help control existing lymphoedema, and generally raise your energy levels whilst having fun!
