Mindfulness aims to increase your awareness of how you think, feel and cope in life. When developing this skill an opening can be created to learn to deal with stress differently.

The course gives participants a chance to experience different forms of mindfulness meditation practice and develop their own skills through independent practice at home.

Maggie’s Centres offer a range of exercise options, including yoga, tai chi and walking groups.

All sessions are tailored to people with cancer and are flexible to suit your own needs. They can also provide a chance to talk to people going through a similar experience to you.

Evidence shows that exercise offers many benefits, from reducing fatigue and improving your wellness and physical fitness, to building your confidence during and after cancer treatment.

Come and join us at our weekly drop-in session for anyone who is affected by cancer.

Each week either Gaynor, Sam or Matthew will be facilitating these sessions, using a variety of relaxation techniques for you to try out. Learning relaxation skills can make you feel more relaxed and help you to manage stress more effectively. Learn the skills and then you can use them anywhere.

A two hour skincare and make-up workshop for women with a cancer diagnosis. It includes a gift bag of cosmetic products which you use in the session and then take home with you.
