On Thursday 21 September we are starting a 8 week mindfulness course at Maggie’s Merseyside.
Mindfulness reveals a set of simple practices that can be incorporated into daily life to relieve, stress, anxiety, pain and the suffering and stress of illness. Clinical trials have shown that mindfulness meditation can be as effective as prescription painkillers and can enhance the body’s natural healing systems.
Mindfulness can also reduce the anxiety, depression, irritability, exhaustion and insomnia that arises from chronic pain and illness.
