Expressive art is a way to explore your feelings – particularly those which can be difficult to put into words – with no skill or experience required.

Concentrating on creating art can help you slow down, relax and process your thoughts. Your unconscious mind can express feelings through pictures, colours and shapes that you might struggle to put into words. And by doing that you may begin to understand more what you’re feeling, which can help to build your confidence.

Practical relaxation exercises to help manage stress and improve wellbeing. These sessions are designed to help you find some peace and calmness. The facilitator will guide you throught the process of relaxing your muscles one by one and letting tension ebb away to a background of relaxing music. Some visualisation is used, which involves asking you to imagine a series of images often including colour and nature.

There is also the opportunity after the session to enjoy a coffee/tea at the kitchen table afterwards.

Look Good Feel Better is a one-off monthly course that teaches women with cancer how to manage some of the visible side-effects of treatment.

Run by beauty professionals, the session introduces some simple techniques that can help you feel more confident about your changed appearance.

Come and enjoy a haven of rest and rejuvenation with evidence-based restorative yoga movements, topped off with a comfortable relaxation programme designed so you can come back home to yourself. Suitable for everyone, you are encouraged to only do what feels right for you on the day.

Please come along and try out this very enjoyable class.

There is an opportunity to enjoy a coffee/tea and a chat at the kitchen table both before and after.
