Practical relaxation exercises to help manage stress and improve wellbeing. These sessions are designed to help you find some peace and calmness. The facilitator will guide you throught the process of relaxing your muscles one by one and letting tension ebb away to a background of relaxing music. Some visualisation is used, which involves asking you to imagine a series of images often including colour and nature.

There is also the opportunity after the session to enjoy a coffee/tea at the kitchen table afterwards.

Group support is available for people with any type of advanced cancer and their friends and families: before, during or after treatment.

This group provides an opportunity to talk to other people who are in a similar situation to you, and to share experiences. Groups offer a safe space to express emotions you might not want to share with your friends and family. You might learn from those a little way ahead of you in their journey and develop your own strategies for coping.
