A six-week Stress Management course.

Sometimes we only notice we are stressed when we explode or panic, or see that our family and friends worry about us. Or we may notice that we have changed. Perhaps we see ourselves being more tired, tense or irritable with others. We may experience unpleasant physical sensations, for example a knotted stomach, cold sweats or a racing heart.

These sessions will introduce you to some of the relaxation and stress management techniques that research has shown can help people affected by cancer. You will have the opportunity to experience various methods of relaxation and stress management including controlling anxious thinking, meditation, visualisation and ‘quick’ or emergency relaxation.
